Network Computing Architects (NCA) has launched a new unified communications as a service (UCaaS) offering called UCFlex thanks to some help from GENBAND, provider of real time communications software solutions. Seeking a way to help its customers achieve advanced, secure communications capabilities that can be deployed quickly and easily maintained, NCA selected GENBAND’s Nuvia cloud platform to deliver UCFlex.
With the help of the Nuvia platform, UCFlex provides NCA customers with a full suite of unified business communications and collaboration tools. This includes HD voice, video, multimedia messaging, mobility, conferencing, web collaboration, desktop UC clients and fixed-mobile convergence.

Early on in October, GENBAND helped Brazilian telecommunications provider Oi make the switch to IP call centers with the help of its session border controllers (SBCs). Later in the month, GENBAND teamed up with NetNumber to help mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) Cellact Communications move toward NFV.
